SUGAR LAND, TX –  The Blue Crabs took on the Skeeters in game three of four on Saturday, however the bats struggled to score against former Blue Crab Jake Hale in a 4-1 loss.

The lone runs scored for the Blue Crabs was a solo home run by Alfredo Marte in the second. That was one of only three hits by Southern Maryland off the Skeeters starter.

Scattered scoring in the first, third and seventh gave the Skeeters a four run game. Two runs were scored off Brian Grening with two more off reliever Scott Snodgress.
