WALDORF, MD—The Blue Crabs dropped the series opener 4-2 in 11 innings to the Long Island Ducks on Friday night at Regency Furniture Stadium. Red-hot Michael Snyder hit his third home run in three days propelling the Blue Crabs to a 1-0 lead in the top of the second inning.
Long Island’s second baseman Ruben Gotay hit a long double to right field and scored on third baseman’s Cody Puckett’s RBI single. Center fielder Blake Tekotte followed with a double and Puckett scored on a throwing error committed by Blue Crabs right fielder, Jamar Walton.
