* The Blue Crabs two wins have come in game two of two doubleheaders this season

* Southern has lost both of their two series played this season

* Southern Maryland hits the road for an eight game road trip beginning with Long Island on Thursday

BLUE CRABS HITTING NOTES

* Southern Maryland was outhit in game one 10-7

* Steve Lombardozzi went 3-4 with an RBI and run scored in game one

* Fred Lewis and Michael Snyder hit back to back homeruns in the bottom of the second inning in game number two to give the Blue Crabs a 2-1 lead

* Michael Snyder has now homered three of the last four games

* Blue Crabs pulled away in the bottom of the sixth inning, scoring three runs on the back of Fred Lewis RBI single, and Jamar Walton’s RBI Triple

BLUE CRABS PITCHING NOTES

* Starting pitchers through six games have yet to pick up the win through six games

* Thompson suffered the loss in game one, going just 2.2 innings, allowing six runs on seven hits

* Navery Moore picked up the victory in game two, pitching an inning and a third out of the bullpen

* Combination of Urlaub and Moore worked around a first and second jam with nobody out in the top of the fifth

BLUEFISH TEAM NOTES

* With their victory in game one, the Bluefish have won three of their last four

* Since Sunday’s 13-5 win against Sugar Land, Bridgeport has scored 30 runs in their four games

* Play their first home game tomorrow night against the New Britain Bees

BLUEFISH HITTING NOTES

* Scored runs in the first, second, four in the third, and one in the sixth in game one

* Jose Cuevas drove in four in game one including a three run shot in the third inning

* Scored their lone run in the top first in game two

BLUEFISH PITCHING NOTES

* Jimmy Patterson got the start in game one, going three innings

* R.J Hively pitched the entire seven innings in game two and suffered the loss, but at one point retired 10 straight hitters
