triple, and that was then followed by Antone DeJesus sacrifice fly to left
field to score Frawley to make it 2-0.  In the top of the sixth, Southern
Maryland added a much needed insurance run when Jovan Rosa singled in Jovan
Rosa.  It was DeJesus second run batted in of the day.

Long Island was out-hit offensive today, with their runs
coming in the fifth on a Cody Puckett solo homerun, and again in the seventh on
an Elmer Reyes homerun over the wall in right field, but were never able to tie
the game or get over the hump thanks to the pitching staff of the Blue Crabs.

Catcher Keith Castillo stays hot, as he is now hitting .390
in his last 11 games after going 1-4 this afternoon.  Outfielder Antone
DeJesus is riding a season high 11 game hitting streak after going 1-3 with two
